Setup - Adobe Photoshop 6 & 7
It is critical that you follow these examples to set your images appropriately,
otherwise your advertisements may not go to press in the way you intended, or
fail to print at all.
A) Profiles: By default, Photoshop inserts colour profile information (ICC) into the saved image.
This information is not interpreted correctly by some versions of RIP's (Raster Image Processors) at both
newspapers and magazines when going to film or direct to plate.
To be safe, please ensure that you set profiling to match the following diagram for every image you edit.
Go to the "File" menu, and choose:
File : Color Settings : Profile
Setup

1) "Embed Profiles" - all
UNCHECKED
2) "Assumed Profiles" -
all NONE
3) "Profile Mismatch Handling"
